Some care must be taken when using these plots. Most of these plots are generated using the nodal interpolation with integration of coil fields method; this has proven to be the best method with these large 2D plots. However it must be remembered that there will be field errors in these plots, these errors will arise from the meshing resolution, approximation of the geometry and the magnetic properties of the materials, plus any unknown errors in the simulation. Whilst much effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the model, these simulations have not been benchmarked and so these plots should only be used as a guide.
Auto-generated plots in X, Y and Z planes are shown both with and without structures. A 3D perspective of each plot has been added to help visualise the location of the plot plane.
The images are organised as follows:
Location of Image,
Type of Image: Bmod, Vector or ErrB/B.
the plane of image XY, XZ or YZ,
the location of plane in either x, y or z.
For each range of values that are plotted are then three views for each image, one with no structures on,
one with background structures on and then the 3D view.
NOTE: Any plots with 'Higher Res' in the directory name indicates that the plots were generated from sample points on a 25mm resolution. Otherwise the plots are generated on a 50mm resolution - but the higher resolution plots take a long time to generate which is why there are fewer sets. Further note 29/10/2013: I don't believe there are any high resolution sets remaining as they have all been superseded by more recent models.
