This is the first full hall model to be run for a while and the first model to be run using OPERA 16. I hope to make good headway through the standard set of models this weekend.

This is a simpler Hall model for Klaus to use based upon comi code backup from 22/04/2013 This model contains NSW, SSW, Floor Web, Q9-Q7 including bases and baseplate, Solenoids Step IV, Solenoid Mode 240MeV/c, VP & USTOF plates, EMR, Beamdump, Linac Wall, DSA, Walls and finally the floors. I've also ensured that the old volume meshing errors are cured and that we are using the OPERA AISI1010 BH curve. This model still contains the 6 default potential cells which is not ideal but clearly hasn't caused a problem in the past.

As model 83 but I've changed the BH curve for 1010 for the default OPERA one. The one that we have been using is not monotonically decreasing in mu_r and this is suspect. If this model hangs then I will try setting the entire model to air before solving, perhaps that will give some insight... I've also changed the default solve tolerance back to 1E-08

Model 84 - 14/05/2013 - No Solution for this model.

Update: 16/05/2013 Terminated as this is still taking too long per iteration. It is still clear that there is something wrong...

Update: 15/05/2013 This code seems to have hung on iteration 5. Not sure why but will kill to give model 84 chance to solve.
Model 82 - 07/05/2013 - No Solution for this model.

12/05/2013 Note this code was killed on the first attempt by a temporary power cut to the physics dept. Subsequent network problems meant it took 24 hours before I could get OPERA up and running again.
As Model 81 but with improved meshing for SSW (Version 3 of the code).
The mesh refinements are turned off for the SSW only.
This means that the only difference between this and model 79 is that there are no mesh refinements on the SSW.
Trying to ascertain why model 79 won't solve...
This code will be killed if it gets beyond iteration 2.
Update: 12/05/2013 This model also had the volume meshing errors corrected!
It got to iteration 4 before I killed it.
Model 81 - 07/05/2013 - No Solution for this model.

This is the same model as model 79 but with the old code for the North and South Shield Walls (Courser Hexahedral Meshing). Trying to ascertain why model 79 won't solve... This couldn't have happened at a worse time. This code will be killed if it gets beyond iteration 2.
08/05/2013 This code has got to iteration 4 so it has been killed and model 81 is now running.
