Partial return yoke: Progress on design and PRY engineering: HW/SP Progress on implementation at RAL: JT PRY project documentation, manufacturing and installation schedule: JT Magnetic modelling: PS Paper: IT/PS DoNM AoB Last week there was some confusion over the position of the Virostek plates, please find a drawing that clarifies (hopefully) the position of the Virostek plates in relation to the MICE Datum – Apex 2 (D2), if any extra information is required please let me know. Note that the RFCCs were extended by 40 mm, the upstream SpecSol remained in place so the Step VI centre (referenced on the drawing) moved by 40 mm, the downstream SpecSol (preceded by 2x RFCC @ Step VI) moved by 80 mm, as did the Virostek plate attached to it. Steve P, please note the RFCC extensions happened a long time ago and all info supplied to you has been based on RFCCs + 40 mm, however I note the Virostek plate flanges have a ~15 mm gap between them and the plates, this is not a problem, in fact it may even allow us to shim the V-plates links to match the V-plates should there be a slight assembly discrepancy.
