The switching matrix is a custom-designed box to allow current measurements of 12 detectors during soak testing. The detectors are biased whilst contained in a freezer unit. The switching matrix connects a detector to the ammeter before breaking the circuit. The circuit is then completed again before the ammeter is disconnected. This is repeated for each detector in sequence.
